AHA Souffle - is it meant to be stinging like this????

I bought this as someone on here recommended it - have just cleansed and applied and, and it stings like holy hell! I had read the reviews of it and people talk like its the holy grail of beauty but I am not enjoying this sensation - is this normal?

How long are you leaving it on for? Stinging is normal, but it shouldn't be painful!

it says to just leave it on after having a 'clean and dry face' - its calmed down a bit now though - I think I was panicking a bit!
