I need one dress for a wedding and a night out...

Please help, stylish ones...

Next month I have a wedding to go to, and the weekend after I have a "big night out" with some friends.

Due to weight gain and lack of social life in recent months I have nothing to wear to either, but I can't really stretch to two new outfits so I need something I can dress up classy like with lady shoes and nice earrings (I have lots of these, thankfully my feet and ears have remained the same size) and then dress down a bit maybe with clumpy boots and a cardi to magically become me again for a night in a bar/club (which I am fairly anxious about but that's another thread for a different day!!)

For info I am fat - size 16 - and Apple shape, and if it is relevant, I have very short cropped hair. I like my legs and my boobs look great in the right bra.

I can probably manage about £30 max for a dress. I've been looking on Amazon, the last dress I bought which I loved was £14 from Amazon!

Thank yu for your help

Love those Lindybop dresses!

Violeta by Mango might suit... a different look from Lindybop...Smile

Some lovely things on those websites but out of my budget sadly.

I love lindybop and I think they would be perfect for a wedding but I'm not sure whether they are too dressy for a night out in a bar. I will already feel frumpier (ha! Autocorrect tried to write grumpier, it may be on to something!) than the people I'm going with (all younger, skinnier etc!) so I feel like I might need to be a bit.. I don't know... Trendier? More fun? Cute? Quirky?! Ugh I literally don't know what people wear on a night out lol

Henry Holland for Debenhams have some lovely quirky dresses in at the moment that would work with heels for a wedding and boots for a night out.
This one in particular if you could stretch the extra £5. It's on my to-buy list when I get paid next week

Or if you can stretch a tenner...this would look great with black tights and heels for wedding and boots and cardi for night out.
