Please help me find a new style.

I have decided that I don't like my clothes anymore and I want to find a new style.
I am 40 and fat. I'm a size 16 but all of that 16 is on my arse. I have only got c cup boobs and a relatively small waist and chest.
At the moment awaits shit I tend to wear leggings and tunics but I'm bored of that now.
I know that leggings and tunics are considered dreadful here on S&B but please be kind.

I like White Stuff, Fat Face and Sea Salt, and I have access to all of them - but then I am a 40 year old teacher so I guess that says it all really. I want to replace everything but I don't know what with. I dislike blue jeans and the only pair I own are for gardening only.
I do love Lindy Bop dresses and similar and have a lot of those but I want something else for every day wear.

Have you started a Pinterest board for ideas and inspiration? I've got one called 'Looks I Like' which I sometimes refer to if I'm stuck for ideas. For example, ideas for how to wear a denim shirt unbuttoned over a striped top with khaki utility trousers, that kind of thing.

I recently had a style overhaul. I read tons of fashion and style blogs and when I found an outfit I liked I just pretty much copied it (using things I could afford!). I also like window shopping, finding pieces I like and then looking for ways to wear them. Like mrslebon said, lots of ideas and inspiration on pinterest!
