Beauty products from Duty Free

Hi! I'm going to be travelling from Heathrow and I wondered if anyone had any recommendations for which beauty products are worth getting from Duty Free. Thank you! Smile

That's hard to answer, a bit like saying 'I'm going to a massive department store, what do you recommend?'

Heathrow duty free will sell pretty much every range you can think of. It will all be around 20% off. What do you need/want?

I have never found "duty free" to be any cheaper than in the shops.

Have a browse on t'internet before you set off. Duty Free always has "duty free only" things that (obv) you can't find in stores. Perfume mini bottle coffrets for example, or special BOGOFs, I got some brill Clarins Primer that was a double box at almost the same price as I'd have paid for just 1 instore.

Those are the stands to look out for in DF, rather than the ordinary concessions you'll see there. You often get things like a cleanser and moisturiser in a boxed set, or a moisturiser and serum for example.

And of course lovely posh perfume that maybe the old Debenhams concessions instore just don't have the shelf space to stock- most of the perfume houses do "exclusifs" (Chanel, Dior, Guerlain etc) come to mind, which maybe in a local dept store they wouldn't stock.

What do you usually buy? Or is there anything you need? There doesn't seem much point in just buying things because they might be a bargain- You're not really saving money if you buy things you wouldn't usually buy just because they're cheaper.

My DD is very prone to infections and last autumn had four sets of increasingly heavy duty antibiotics as her lips were so bad they actually got horribly infected.

Through research on here, bought her this, burts bees and some sort of nipple balm and she's had no infections or need for antibiotics since. It really is a miracle and that M and S set is a total bargain which I've just ordered!
