lovely dress

I have been searching for one just like it, but googling "floaty teal chiffon dress" and variations on that theme has only found me this glorious one which is not for sale or even credited sob

Anyone?

Try googling teal gypsy dress and you'll find things like this

DeloresDeSyn · 06/02/2016 13:00

Thanks Zaza, I have been googling like mad which is how I came across the picture.

I want it to be floaty and light, and that colour too- it's not quite teal is it? I'm not sure what else to call it though.

I also need to be able to access my boobs for breastfeeding. Not asking much am I?!

It's vital that I look amazing as I haven't met all these people before, they all love DH (it's his work), and I need to detract from my resting bitch face and lack of small talk Grin

I'd say that's almost a petrol blue rather than teal. No idea where to find one that style, though, sorry .

DeloresDeSyn · 06/02/2016 13:03

Thanks the girl, I'll get busy googling that

Is it carbon coloured? It's gorgeous, I love how it's all styled in the photo. Very Anthropologie Smile

LadyIsabellaWrotham · 06/02/2016 15:30

Maybe?

LadyIsabellaWrotham · 06/02/2016 15:31

I'd call it midnight blue. Teal is greener.

nonamenopackdrill · 06/02/2016 15:33

If you inspect the image, it is hosted on this website: www.thesartorialist.com/category/women/

DeloresDeSyn · 07/02/2016 07:22

Havelina what's carbon coloured? She looks amazing doesn't she? The website is a fashion photographer's but loads of the photos, including this one, are people he stops in the street apparently, so no clothing credits.

Thank you for the links, I think I want something a bit looser or floatier somehow?

You could try Joe Browns. They do nice, slightly unusual clothing.

cathyandclaire · 07/02/2016 10:10

Failed to find anything similar or as lovely, the petrols and teals are a bit too green, the midnights are too blue... anyway a couple of floatyish petrols

cathyandclaire · 07/02/2016 10:14

Spectacular link fail!
Take 2:
too strappy?
another Haute Hippy one

tethersend · 07/02/2016 11:09

Try Free People for similar dresses.

DeloresDeSyn · 07/02/2016 13:28

I kind of like those ones cathy, but I need boob access and I would prefer arms I think.

Jo Browns a bit flowery

I love all of Free People tethers, pretty sure I'll find something there, bit pricey though!

Carbon - I don't know but I just night a top online from Anthropologie and he colour was listed as carbon there and it's similar to yours!

Yep the look is so great but it would be hard to pull off in real life I think! All that dishevelled "I've got a secret" clutching and chanelling of Kate bush Smile

Not quite what you're looking for....

But now u

Havalina1 · 07/02/2016 20:28

Whoops posted too soon!

Now you got me looking, I'm in love with this dress. Like you I need boob access, but the thought of the baby pulling at it and ripping that lovely silk is making me feel upset and I don't even own it!

DeloresDeSyn · 07/02/2016 21:07

Havalina that made me laugh, yes I would struggle to get the right amount of dishevelled and end up looking like I had rushed out without ironing anything.

I love those shades of blue and the red together, and her case- i have one the same but I would feel too self conscious using it! do people really walk along the street looking that good?

I love anthropologie, I bought three dresses in the sale but I can't wear any of them as boobs encased. I hope I still like them once DS I decide to stop!

Try googling peasant dress. Comes up with some very similar styles.
