Watch for an 18 year old boy

I want to get my soon to be 18 year old son a watch for his birthday - he's said this is what he wants. I've got about £150 to spend.

I have no idea about what is cool and what is not though. He's not a particularly fashion conscious kid but he likes gadgets and is a bit geeky.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

A Mondaine Swiss Railway watch?

A design classic, very cool.

My ds is a bit younger but he's quite fashion conscious and a bit of a hipster. He thinks these are wonderful- and has put in an order for one for his 16th. I think it's the one called Lulworth he particularly likes. Worth showing him?

I like both of those, thanks.

He's got very skinny wrists though so I'm not sure how small some of the mesh bands go to.

I bought this Skagen watch for DS2's 19th birthday at Christmas. It's gorgeous in real life and it's very thin so is quite flush on his wrist. He's got quite skinny arms and it fits well, too.
