And despite being a bit shaken up at how loud the noise was and the fact that I thought I a saw smoke all I could think was yeay finally I can buy a Parlux. 😀
I know they are highly recommended on here and often discussed - can anyone advise what model to buy ?
I have short fine hair but loads of it so it takes a good while to dry.
DD has asked me to get a quieter one that is rainbow coloured - not fussed about colour but actually if there is a quieter one that would be amazing.
The one that died was a ten year old Nicky Clarke one if thats relevant.
Thanks if you can help me - over excited!

I am also contemplating a Parlux! I like the look of the super compact, as I am a klutz and would probably give myself a black eye with a bigger model Grin. I'm just dithering about spending so much money on a hairdryer. Parlux sell silencers for a reasonable price, might be worth a go.

Ooh I missed this reply and went ahead and ordered this one-

Looks fab and am about to use it for the first time.
I bought a silencer but not sure it makes much difference so I may yet return that !
