Help me find a bag for all my shite

I'm currently lugging round a tatty cotton tote and I think it's time I had something a big more grown up/hard wearing (though not too grown up; I'm late 20s, not Mrs Thatcher).

On a normal day for work I need to carry:

  • lunch
  • little insulated bag with breast pump
  • folded up buckle sling (in case I'm late leaving work and have to go straight to the childminder's)
  • giant purse

All of this fits in my tote but it just looks rubbish.

I'd like something not too structured, maybe a bit slouchy, possibly grey, or black... Except I'm stuck and I hate shopping for bags because I never know where to start! Budget is around £50-£100 (birthday coming up so can probs stretch to £100 for something just right).

I'd try TK maxx first

For example how's this:
betty barclay hobo

Or any of these by Kew which are leather (just realised the betty barclay one isn't)

John Lewis do a good line in slouchy leather totes for around the £70 mark, in a variety of colours?

Large Le Pliage is what you need!

I've got some really good Reisenthel bags: www.reisenthel.com
Lots of choice in shapes, sizes and colours.

Ooh good suggestions here, thank you!

I just ordered the fiorelli Hennessy shoulder bag from John Lewis which sounds like it would fit your description, it's £69
