White/pale eye pencil

Does anyone use one of these - NOT the one for the inside rim but more like an eyeshadow pencil. Does it brighten the area up? Am I too old for make up shenanigans?! Am 43, off skiing, and want to look half decent for not much effort.

face transplant is only other option

I do, makes me look "awake" and bright eyed. I've got hooded eyes and it sort of opens them up. Also love white eyeliner for the bottom eyelid
