They have a size converter chart on the site, which must be used as they use US men's sizing. I find the Ultimate boots pretty true to size, the standard EVA slightly bigger.

I've got two pairs of Ultimates, one pair of EVA and the soft-soled indoor boots and find the quality great. Have had Celtic too and I personally prefer Kiwis, but would say the quality is equal.

People often stop me and ask where they are from, as the sole on the Ultimates is much sturdier than most Ugg-type boots.

Thank you ants I appreciate it

I've had a pair of EMU Spindles off Amazon (much cheaper)They are the waterproof ones, you can wash the insoles as well to re-fluff them up.
They still look like new after a brush, they have a more study foot ,not like the squishy Ugg style boots.

Corygal1 · 30/01/2016 20:12

Emu stingers, the lovely plush ones, are in TK Maxx at the mo for 70 quid.

My Bearpaw sheepskin boots are still going strong after several years. I got them for about £40 in TK Maxx.

Orangesarenot · 31/01/2016 01:53

I've no idea if the shop is any good, but they are the Emma tall pair on this page www.natureshop.co.uk/collections/bearpaw

I am very in love with my Celtic & co ones, I ordered and returned a pair of uggs at the same time to compare, and the Celtic ones felt much more robust.

BaffledShirley · 31/01/2016 09:54

I have two pairs of Celtic boots - the first pair are over 8 years old and still comfortable and fluffy. They've worn exceptionally well, are made with English fleeces and handmade in Cornwall. They also offer a repair service which I've not needed yet. I have the indoor boots and a pair of Aqua Lambs. Love them, not particularly stylish but essential wear for 4 months of the year in our drafty house.

Twinklestein · 31/01/2016 15:47

These Shepherd boots are the best sheepskin boots I've ever had. They're built for Scandinavian winters and thoroughly waterproof.

On sale here for £126

Happy50 · 31/01/2016 22:24

I have the Celtic boots- lasted years
Very good quality.
Excellent repairs.
A Cornish firm with most of the boots made in the UK not in China
I would throughly recommend

I live in my Kiwi Sheepskin Ultimate boots: they're really great, and the strong soles mean you can wear them outside. I get a new pair every year in the winter sale and buy foam-backed insoles to put in my wellies.
