Personal Shoppers

I am a personal shopper who has recently relocated from London to Yorkshire. Just wanted to give some advice. Choosing a personal shopper is like picking who to be your personal trainer at the gym. You're not going to feel comfortable with everyone and you're not going to find everyone's technique suitable for you. Personally I think finding a shopper outside of a store is more reassuring from a trust point of view. You pay a set fee so you know the shopper isn't working on a commission to push you into what you don't want. Yes I want results but I want them for you rather than for the stores daily targets! A consultation is a great way to start and get a feel for it and many personal shoppers will do that for free either face to face or on FaceTime/Skype. When you find the right person it can completely change your life. Sometimes we don't realise how clothes can impact our personality and how they can make us feel! X

Advertising?

I don't see why anything I've put would lead you to believe Im advertising Fuzzballs? I don't see my name, weblink or contact details anywhere? I was simply giving some advice. I actually thought I had replied to a thread to which women were discussing their personal shopper experiences. I have only just joined so hadn't realised I'd started a whole new thread. What a lovely welcome to Mumsnet.

How can you think you commented on the thread when you entered your own title 'Personal Shoppers'? Hmm

Your defensiveness speaks volumes actually. You sound delightful....
