My current count is 4...picked up a new yellow striped one on sale today.

My friends tease me mercilessly about my 'uniform', but IDGAF! It will always be 2009 where I live

I have a pink, an odd neon one, and the classic cream with navy stripe :D

When I lose weight im treating myself to a couple. I love them!

Do these wash well ? They are actually quite reasonable aren't they !

They do. None of mine have shrank, but I don't put them in the tumble dryer. They are a substantial cotton, not a light t-shirt/jersey.

Do you need to size down with them? I have a few Breton tops which I love (cheap french market stall ones!) but was thinking of treating myself to a lovely Joules one. Should I just get my normal size do you think?

They're definitely generous. If you look at pics on website even the models wear them loose.

They do look on the large size .. Are they fitted? Ie smaller around the ribs etc ?

I have a green and white one and love it.m but it's now got tomato stains on it. Trying to decide which colour next. Love the thick cotton.

I'm a 14 and have a 14. Fits about right. I have big boobs though so some 14s are right there, so it may be slightly generous but not by loads.

Wait for a sunny day dontcry and hang it outside - sun bleaches out tomato stains really effectively. Admittedly you might be waiting a while to see the sun, but I promise it works!

Has anyone tried a new season one yet? I tried one on in the shop recently and it was a good few cm's longer than the one I was wearing.
Trying to get a sense of whether it's just that my old one has shrunk in the wash. Will be really disappointed if they are longer as all the new season ones in the shop were the same length.

i love them but refuse to buy them as they have the joules logo embroidered on the rear neck and the joules label sewn on the arm. why do they do that?

I presume it's all about 'branding'

We're all supposed to be aspiring to a upper-middle class horsey lifestyle I'd imagine.

I'm new too them, but I have just brought 2 of this seasons. The white with the black stripes and silvers dots and the navy stripe one. I'm in love such a nice weight not too thick/light, I'm wearing mine with my Barbour- loving the look

No one able to confirm if the new season ones are longer or it's just my washing?

I found the 'printed' ones are slightly bigger than the striped ones. The striped ones are woven in different colour thread, whereas the printed ones have an eg white base & are printed with flowers/pattern.

Actually my new one is summer (3/4 sleeve) and I thought it was a little smaller

I like them too but like the pp the obvious branding really puts me off.

Unfortunately I haven't managed to find thick cotton tops anywhere else so will have to go without.

I like the tops, but absolutely hate the branding at the rear of the neck.

RNBrie - yep the sun is fab - works a treat on my baby's vests but this is super ingrained (It looks tomatoish but could be anything orangey yellow really!)

Seasalt Sailor t shirts are a good alternative without the branding. I have a couple which have survived at least 4 summers of almost constant wear.

amazonianwoman beat me to it, but yes, Seasalt's Breton and other such stripey tops are really good too, I much prefer them having previously been a Harbour top addict. And no branding. But the colours used are usually rather boring safe.

Has anyone tried the Cath Kidston versions? Their clothes are normally quite flimsy, but the fabric seems a bit thicker on the new tops, judging by the website photos? And there's a spotty one too.

I take that back about Seasalt's colour palette. Someone has introduced them to colours other than a muted blue. Impressed!
