Crown brushes have a great selection and very reasonably priced. Popular with MUAs, apparently!

I recently bought the Real Techniques Eye makeup starter set and it's brilliant. I much prefer the brushes to my MAC ones.

The angled brushes from Eco tools
That way you can apply as a shadow and for emphasis as a liner
Ensure brush is wet though

ZOEVA brushes are incredible :-) so soft and apply/blend eyeshadow like a dream . a little pricey, you can buy them separately if you wouldn't use them all.

Yes to Zoeva, their eye brushes were a game changer for me.

I bought a couple of Makeup Revolution brushes recently. They're about £2 and are great. I have the E102 contour brush and the E103 blending brush.

Another zoeva fan... There's one called luxe petite crease that I really love.

Second Eco tools, and the Body Shop.
