Waterproof coats - properly waterproof...For ladies...

Today i realised that i have a gap in my wardrobe - a coat that will withstand the torrential rain on the school run.

I've started looking online for a coat but not sure of makes etc. I'd like a longish one which comes to just above my knees but many of the ones in outdoor shops just come to below your bum.

Any tips?

I bought one in the trespass sale
Its called trespass Alissa 3 in 1. Its really nice, waterproof, warm. And below the bum. And its only £50 in the sale.

I have a Merrell like this which is brilliant - totally waterproof, and a good length

I have the merrell haven too. Had the wakefield before but I accidentally ripped it on a nail :(
