Boden kids duffle coat - can i wash it?

It's 60% wool and says dry clean only, but I'm desperate to get it washed and dried for school on Monday as its DDs only warm coat. Can't send her in it, she's split something all down it!

Should I risk it on a wool wash or will it ruin it?

I wouldn't risk it, it'll probably shrink. Steaming is your best option.

Thank you, I didn't think of steaming.

I have washed them before. In a cold wash and minimal spin.
