Super Facialist range?

A while ago India Knight recommended the Super Facialist brand by Una Brennan in her beauty column. I've been thinking of upgrading from my budget Aldi products (though I have no complaints, they are great) as my skin is just looking a bit dull and old (disclosure: am 42 and don't get enough sleep so not sure any cream is going to work miracles at this point...)
Just wondered if any of you have used the Super Facialist range and what you would recommend? They all seem to get good reviews on the Boots website but i want to try one product and see if suits me before spending more. Any thoughts?

I've only tried the vitamin c cleansing oil, but it is lovely.

I use the vit c cleansing oil, serum & cream. It's lovely.

Vit C day cream is excellent and gives a nice subtle glow.

In fact, everything I've tried from the whole range has been good.

The oil and the Rose cream are lovely. I was underwhelmed by the night cream though.

I like the Neroli day and night creams. I think I used up two each.

I have the Rose cleanser and day cream and they are both lovely!

I am using the vitamin c serum at the moment, it's quite nice. It always seems to be on offer in Boots.

Thank you guys. I'm tempted by the rose cream. Will report back if there's a miraculous transformation hopeful

not sure why hopeful appeared in bold, although I do live in hope there's a product out there that will be "the one"...

I've tried both the neroli and rose cleansers. They are both very good, but I think I'll go back to the neroli when I've finished the rose one I'm on now.

I like the vit c cleanser too & Rose mask.

I got the rose cream from TK Maxx for a fiver. It's good.

I find it very heavily scented personally which has put me off it

The cleansing oil is the do g's. The masks are nice too, and the facial oil is supposed to be good.

I work in the beauty/blogger PR industry and these brands target the beauty bloggers and journos - take the fact that it was mentioned in the column with a pinch of salt. It all keeps the industry cogs turning and backhanders happening.

It might be a really nice product you love but I'd not listen to one journalist who's no doubt been wined, dined and given vast quantities of the product to try without spending their hard earned cash on which imho vastly changes how a product is reviewed

Put it this way I think ;) the brand you are talking about has a pretty good PR agency doing their job iyswim

iamnina Thanks, I tend to think most of the beauty industry is smoke and mirrors hence my no frills Aldi routine. I'll pick up one of these on offer and give it a whirl but am under no illusions!

I like the products, the cleansing oil in particular

I've used the rose oil - I know that it is meant for "pre-cleansing" but in fact I use it like any facial oil, it works well and is cheaper than some. Have also used their Neroli oil version but I don't know if they have this one any more.

My only quibble with them is that the little pump bottle leaks badly when I travel, so I have to put it in a pocket in my handbag to keep it the right way up.
I don't really know that there is any difference between different types oil for different facial purposes and am not convinced that different scented oils do different things either. My professionally trained massage lady uses light olive oil for massage (with scented oils added) and believes that the only difference between scents is that some smell more "relaxing" or "uplifting" etc.

If your massage lady is using "scented oils", as in synthetic perfumes, she is correct and there is no difference between them- none of them will do anything to your skin exept potentially irritate it. Proper essential oils do have different properties. Rose is good for dry skin, and neroli is good for all skin types as it encourages new cell growth.
