Not your daughter's jeans sizing

They are on sale at the moment but I'm not sure about the sizing. Website recommends buying a couple of sizes down. According to the size chart , being a size 8, I am a 34 so I should buy a 32?
Don't want to risk another unsuccessful online purchase but it so tempting as they are ridiculously expensive full price. What is the quality like?

If you are a size 8 I don't think you would be a 34.

All I know about their jeans is that the stretch out a lot. Not worth the risk in my opinion.

go down a size, i bought a pair of UK size 14s but could have done with a 12

My mum had to go down two full sizes (8 to a 4) in some cuts of these, only to a 6 in others.

miri, I should clarify that the website gives European sizes. European 34 is a UK 8.

Thanks for the responses. I don't think I'll go ahead with the purchase.
