Lip primers?

Am I missing a trick?
Should I be investigating these? Are they worth it?
What ones do you recommend for keeping colour glued on without drying lips out?

The MAC lip primer is absolutely magic stuff. Moisturises the lips so they don't dry out but the lipstick still stays on.

i have the mac one as well and love it, sometimes i use it on its own

I bought the MAC one last week, not thinking it would do any good. I LOVE IT. My lips are sometimes a bit dry, especially at this time of year, and my lippy stays on all day, and my lips don't dry out.
