Pastel colours in hair

sigh I wish I was blonde so I could do this! The pale pinks look amazing. Have any dark brunettes managed to pull this off successfully? Obvs I wouldn't be able to dye it all over, but I'm thinking of bleaching ombré style and then going over in pastel. But I'm worried I'll go orange and panic. I love my hair and don't want to ruin it but I adore this style.

I'm dark brunette and have done pastels, all over and dip dye. You need bleach and ovaries of steel to get the lift to,use the pastel tints.

when you get some grey the overall method will work well , as the grey picks up the pastel and the dark looks darker by contrast. Doing mine bright pink today!
