It's good to feel good about yourself

so, at the risk of this thread not taking off & being a bit sad complimenting myself alone, I like my legs and my height. When I was a teenager I thought I was bigger than I was, so bought stuff that was 2-3 sizes too big and wondered why it never fell right! Now I've found my size and am happy with it.

I like my eyes and bum. I also like my height I'm 5'8 so keeps me slim even over Christmas

I'm slim but with a good bust.
My eyes are a nice colour and shape.

DH would (and does) say my hair but it takes a fair amount of tweaking to get it looking decent that it's not my naturally best feature. He just sees the 'after' bit.

I love my arms, they are long & slim & toned. I would wear vest tops all year round if I we lived in warmer climes. The rest is a bit Meh.

Arms, chest area and small boobs, and my nice grey eyes. Above the waist basically :) And also I like my very pale skin.

I have nice eyes and long eyelashes.

And when I am slimmer I have a proper hourglass figure - my waist was always way smaller than the rest of me. My actual frame is quite narrow and I have great boobs!

I love my eyes, eye lashes and eyebrows.
I love my hair colour. It has goldy, reddy colours in it no grey yet
I love my shoulders - good and wide!
I love my fingernails - they're strong and I rarely feel the need to slap polish on them.
i like my wrists - slim bony, really, but I'm fond of them!
I love my boobs
I love my stomach - even the GP complimented me on how strong my stomach muscles were last time I visited him!
I love my height.
I love my weight. I'm well-proportioned height/weight wise I think.

At the moment I'm liking my nose and arms/shoulders, and my lips when they're not too dry.
Everything below boob height needs work though, the worst culprit - as ever - being my thighs. One of these days I will be rich and brave enough for lipo

I like my eyes - they've been called bewitching a fair few times a long time ago

I like my hair which has beachy waves naturally, even more so since having ds

I love my feet, ankle and wrists which are pretty dainty looking

I love my cheekbones and my nails - the tips always look white so I don't bother with nail polish often

My height. I'm cool with 5'3"; petite and feminine.

Dislikes: Cellulite saddlebag city, flabby tummy and massive upper arms, ever increasing double-chin and thin rubbish hair (worse since kids).

My hair and my smile (thanks to railway track braces in my teens!).

I've got elegant long slim feet, in fact everything from mid thigh down looks great - shapely, slender, nice muscles
I have a nice nose and my hair is naturally strawberry honey blonde, wavy but will stay straight if I straighten it and stay curly if I curl it.
I'm a nice shape in clothes bit empty and saggy looking withou around boobs and stomach due to 5.5 stone (yay go me!) weightloss

I have lovely, long, curly eyelashes.

I like all of me. I really do. I'm in my 40's now. It's taken a long time to feel this good about myself.

I've got great lips - perfect shape and size to carry off any lipstick. I've got big green eyes, a nice neat nose and decent legs for skirts.

My eyes. I like the shape and colour.

My facial skin. I have very few lines for 44 yo. Partly down to using high factor sun cream on sunny days for all of my adult life. Partly down to being overweight . Partly down to not burning the candle at both ends when younger occasionally for work but not for going out. Mostly down to genetics - Thanks Dad!

My toes. I have cute toes (I've had compliments when they're out in sandals).

I have great hair - shiny and dark, very well behaved and in good condition. I don't really have to style it or do much to maintain it.

I'm 50. I have always had slim ankles and now I have the legs to match. I love going into work wearing a pair of woolly tights and a jumper dress and clocking the looks. I may be over the hill but I have a cracking set of pins

I've looked at this thread three times today trying to decide what I like about myself.
Turns out not a lot.
However, compliments I receive make me think I need to reconsider this so, here are the things I'm told are good so I'm going to teach myself to like them.
I have nice nails.
I have a pretty face.
I have a great figure.

I've lost a lot of weight recently so I'm getting used to my figure.
I've never considered myself pretty, not ugly either but just not particularly pretty.
Nails, ok. But they peel and split easily.

I'm generally a nice person though or I try to be. I'm probably a bit prickly though.

Must learn to appreciate myself more.

elephantoverthehill you're the same age as Liz Hurley. I doubt she considers herself over the hill!

I like the fact that my body is fairly strong and fit even though I'm not as slim as I'd like to be.
