Am I going to look like mutton?

I've had a new year new clothes binge and gone mad on asos sale stuff.
And I'm now having an attack of the wobbles.
I've ordered amongst other things some suedy over the knee boots with a small chunky heel.
I'm 35.
Am I too old?
I'm a size 8 to 10 with some wobbly bits emerging.
What the hell do I wear with them?
Am I going to look like a naff pirate or that I didn't realise panto season is over?
Generally I'm a vintage clothes wearer or a bit grungy. Trendy stuff scares me but I fancied a change and now worried I've gone too far!

Well I'm 44 (today, happy birthday to me!) and I'm hankering after a pair of suede OTK boots! I think it totally depends how you wear them. Personally I'd wear them over skinnies with a chunky jumper and dress them down. Like you, I'm a size 8 - 10 and have good, long slim legs so why the heck not wear the OTKs? What colour are the ones you've bought?

35? Pah. I have 10 years on you and wear OTK boots. I have two pairs. A black leather flat pair and a black suede pair with a chunky heel. Tend to wear with opaques, short skirts or tailored shorts as I don't do jeans very often. Slouchy top.

Well they're here. My legs look amazing in them, all long and gaming.
I've been strutting around in front of the mirror all afternoon yesterday.

Skinny jeans and massive balloony cardigan with an ancient ramones t shirt underneath.
