can you help me find a new perfume

Caudalie no longer make Zeste de Vigne and I am not keen on the other ones

I like herbally medicinally smells, citrus, woody, mossy , dry spicey , vetiver

don't like floral, fruity, heavy musky/boudoiry type ones and I dislike oil perfumes L'Occitane or Jo Malone perfumes

I am skintish so looking for summat up to £40 ish . i love Chanel Sycomore and Frederic Malle Vetiver Extraordinaire when I mooched samples but it is ££££££££

any suggestions please?

Encre Noir, by Lalique, springs to mind but make sure you get the homme version. It is lovely, but not easy to find in the UK. I share your tastes, but obv, sample it first.

I like similar scent to you so you therefore have incredibly good taste!

Green mossy and citrussy around £40: O de Lancome, Chanel Cristalle, Aromatics Elixir, Paco Rabanne Calandre, Y by YSL, Guerlain Herba Fresca, Carven Ma Griffe, Balmain Vent Vert and Carven le parfum.

Some of them may be over or under £40 depending on hard they are to find but you can google that.

TK Maxx have a lot of L'Artisan Parfumeur stuff in right now, have you ever smelt Bois de Farine? It's woody, slightly like pencil shavings, and lovely. Others reckon it smells of baking bread, but I get herbs, wood and pencil shavings.

Agree on FM's Vetiver. Lushness.

I LOVE Viktor and Rolf SpiceBomb. Its pour homme, but I don't really care! Its woody, herbally, GORGEOUS! I think its about £40 for a 30ml.
