What do you think to this dress?

I'm going to a wedding in late May. It's in a field, in the middle of nowhere and we are camping. My idea of hell on earth.

I really feel the cold so thought it'd be a good idea to layer under a maxi dress.

What do you think to this? I'm 38, 5'2", size 6.

I think it's lovely but I would be worried about being too warm / wintry looking by the end of May. May can be lovely even in a field!

As someone only slightly taller and 2 dress sizes bigger than you, I think it will completely swamp you and it isn't season appropriate at all.

I did wonder if it would be swamp-y.

I'm not season appropriate 😄 I wear a jumper or cardigan when most people are in vest tops and shorts!

Can't see the dress, but if camping isn't your thing, have you considered hiring a campervan? Warm, comfortable beds and your own bathroom.
