Has anyone successfully beat an addiction to nude lipstick?

If so, please advise how you did it. I want so badly to have a fresh berry lip but I can't do it.

I also love seeing other women in bright red lipstick and tried for decades to find one that would make me look like them. It never happened.

Then the shop assistant beguiled me into trying the shade I mentioned above. I think I probably recoiled in horror but agreed to try it for the rest of the day. And found myself being followed around in mirrors by a woman who looked about 100 times better than I ever had before.

I'd still like to find the perfect red though.

I bought soap and glory berry crush yesterday and I love it! I am a die hard nude-er

I have quite a lot of few nude MAC lipsticks but I find that they make me look washed out, I'd love to find the perfect one for me though Patisserie is tempting me I'm so envious of people who look good in nude shades.
I do love my brights though. Vegas Volt is my favourite although I'm getting Tropic Tonic delivered tomorrow or Friday which is supposed to be a matte version of Vegas Volt. I also love wearing Dangerous and Lady Danger.
