do you do your hair and makeup everyday?

Apart from if I'm not leaving the house I do my makeup everyday, however I don't bother doing my hair and usually shove it up into a messy bun Blush

When I either straighten it or curl it I feel fab but it's not a morning priority and as I already get up at stupid oclock and I would have to forsake plucking my chin and I couldn't do that. (no idea why my chin gets so hairy, I spend at least half an hour a morning doing that if not 45 minutes.)

If you do do your hair every morning (some days I don't even brush it) how long does it take you and whats your hair short cuts?

OP - Have you looked into electrolysis for your chin hair? I've been having mine done every 3 weeks for the past year and they are much finer now.

I blow dry my bob and wear make up every day for work. At the weekends I sometimes get away with just pulling my hair back in a clip and not bothering with eyeshadow or lipstick. I'd have to be really I'll to leave the house without concealer or mascara.

Hair is long and wavy, I just run fingers through it to detangle, maybe clip the fringe back and it's ready to go (I don't blow dry but only wash twice a week). Daily make up ranges from about 1 minute (eyebrows only as I have to draw them on, lost them to alopecia) to 5 mins if I do face and eyes too. Night out make-up is about 10 mins.

I wash and blow my hair every few days but I do it at night when the kids are in bed. I have longish hair that does as it's told so I just run my fingers through it in the morning. Sometimes I curl it at night and pull the curls out so it looks "beachy" that usually lasts for three days before I have to wash it.

I always put a full face of makeup on it takes me five minutes in the morning.

Wash and blow dry my hair straight and then straighten it with irons 3 or so a day a week (I put it up on the days I go to the gym before work - shower/wash it etc there but can't be arsed to fight for the straighteners). I have very thick (and a lot of) hair. It's shoulder length and takes around 30 mins just to dry it - in sections - with a Parlux. My hair dresser has to use two driers to get it done more speedily.

I then clip the front off my face whilst I do 90% of a full face (no eyeshadow shut everything else). Takes 30 mins or so (I spend a lot of time on my base and eyelashes).

Then unclip front of hair, use the straighteners. 5 mins or so (don't like to use them too much as they remove the carefully blown in 'bounce').

Hairspray, get dressed, pack handbag, leave house.

I get up 2 hours before I need to leave the house & will put a load of washing on / eat breakfast / spend 20mins in shower etc.

Apologies for stupid autocorrects...

TheDowagerCuntess · 02/01/2016 23:05

Yes, both every day. I only wash my hair every 2-3 days as it's naturally very dry, but I BBH it every day.

Iliveinalighthousewiththeghost · 02/01/2016 23:11

Yes.

MrsRonBurgundy · 02/01/2016 23:12

Yes to both. Hair only gets washed every other day because it takes so long to dry but on a non hair wash morning I still have to run the straighteners through because it gets wavy when it gets humid in the shower.

I have to get up at 5.30 to get out the house for 7 so I'd love to cut back my routine but I really hate not having a full face on

LaurieFairyCake · 02/01/2016 23:20

For 5 days a week I shower, dry hair and put make up on - takes 45 minutes.

At weekends I wear pyjamas, no make up and take 3 hour baths.

IWannaHoldYourHand · 02/01/2016 23:21

I put my hair into a couple of buns, or Dutch braid it at night. When I get up in the morning all I have to do is let it down and it's wavy.

I spend about 5 minutes hiding my spots and eye bags, mascara and tippy, and I'm done.

SuperFlyHigh · 02/01/2016 23:40

No not at weekends....

At weekends I generally do a food shop and its me with hair brushed and no makeup. If meeting friends or a date then yes hair styled and makeup.

Every day for work yes. Although had a cold last few days of work so didn't wear makeup on 2 days my boss looked at me and said "you look ill' well of course I do without sodding blusher and under eye concealer don't I?!

BrandNewAndImproved · 03/01/2016 09:47

I look ill without makeup as well. My skins pretty good I just look pale and washed out without it.

Back to work tomorrow so I'm going to start sorting my hair out and stop faffing about. I get up at 5:30 to leave the house at 8:15 because I procrastinate so much in the morning.

I do makeup everyday for work and at the weekend if I'm leaving the house, I look dreadful without it and people would comment it I didn't have any on! I try to do my hair but really need to make more of an effort buy getting up a little earlier so I'm ready before DD (4 ) gets up for school, I usually end up with it in a pony which isn't a very professional look!

FLAMBOLA · 03/01/2016 12:14

Nope. My hair is thick and curly so sometimes I can't be arsed. Today I'm going out for a walk with DH and DC so am just about to throw it into a bun then wash my face. The weather is shit anyway, if I put on makeup it'd just wash off!

PennyPants · 03/01/2016 12:27

Yes to make-up everyday.
Hair is medium long so only needs faffing with every other day or third day if I'm lucky. Only wash it twice a week Max.
If I'm on my period or weather is muggy then hair everyday as it gets needy.
