slippers for slightly stinky feet

Er. I have slightly whiffy feet. Not usually a problem as I wash often (!) and keep the tootsies clean. BUT. My slippers really do honk. To be fair, they're a cheapo Sainsburys pair.

Any suggestions for a fabric, or pair of slippers that won't get stinky? Or is it just a case of always wearing socks?

Not tested in the machine yet, but for similar reasons (and hard floors), I've bought 2 pairs of these machine washable slippers. Not particularly thick sole, but comfy.

Sheepskin ones from Celtic & Co. Not cheap but I've had mine 3 years and they're still going strong. Lovely and warm and they don't make my feet sweat

Have also had this problem! I used to get little ballet style slippers from Muji - they were machine washable, but eventually fell apart after too many washes. I now have Birkenstock felt clogs, and after almost a year they still don't smell. I do wear socks/tights with them though, which probably makes a difference.
