Best fitting jeans for apple shapes?

Have had a disheartening morning trying to buy a new pair of jeans. I'm basically a 12 on my hips and legs but a 14 on my waist - I'm naturally apple shaped which has got worse after having children. All of my current pairs are looking very tired and some actually have holes (not on the knees, on the crotch) as I haven't bought any new ones for a couple of years. I'm looking for something straight and fairly skinny either dark blue, grey or black preferably under £50 as my post baby body is still changing, so don't want anything too expensive. Have tried Gap, M & S, Next, Zara so far within no luck -12 is too small on the waist, 14 fits on the waist but is baggy everywhere else. Any fellow apples found a decent pair recently?

M&s jeans come in all shapes. I have several pairs of their hoik it all northwards and pretend you have a bottom skinnies.bi have to wear a belt, as I have nothing to hang them off, but they fit beautiful. Bthey come in slim fit as well as skinny, but my legs are all wrong for those.

And apologies for my phone translating all that into gobbledygook.

Have you tried nexts 'lift slim mad shape' ones. I am what sounds the same as you 14 waist but 12 hip and bum. So nut Hong that fits around the waist is too baggy everywhere else but these ones are nicely elastic without being too tight. Plus they don't look like middle age mum jeans! (I am allowed to say that being a nearly middle aged mum!)

And shape not mad shape!

Fluffyemenent · 02/01/2016 15:19

I actually have no idea what nut Hong was supposed to say.

Have you tried Gap slim straight? I know you said you'd tried Gap but I'm a large 12 apple and the 30 inch waist are perfect for me. Not low rise and really flattering imo

I'm an apple shape, size 12, and find that Boden vintage blue jeans and Brax 'Mary Sport' fit jeans both work well for me. I can't look up from here, which shape of Boden it was, there are lots of similar shapes, i tried one of each until. I found the ones that are good for me. HTH.

Oasis jade jeans are a good fit for me. I'm an apple shaped size 10. I also find warehouse jeans a good shape

I wore Fat Face after the DC's were born, they seem to cater for my 'extreme apple' shape, they are fairly decent quality and last time I looked came in at under £50.

I have found D Jeans in TK Maxx - they are skinny fit, high waisted and are a bloody godsend for me at the moment. £15 ish for a pair, I have half a dozen in black, navy, normal blue, grey and have worn them to death over the past few months.

Try Dorothy Perkins jeggings. They're really stretchy and comfy for Apple shapes.

Thanks everyone - I live just around the corner from T K Maxx so I will try there this week.
