Hello all of you, this is my first ever post in S&B after 9 years on MN !
My gorgeous sister got engaged just before Christmas and has asked me to be head bridesmaid/MOH along with 3 other (adult) bridesmaids.
She's asked me to have a little look for potential dresses for us to wear (we're not doing "official" bridesmaid dresses from a bridal shop)
So this is what I'm trying to find, although it's very early days and she might change her mind:
- green/blue/teal
- 3 of us are quite busty, one is not
- size range 10-16 atm (although I am the 16 and intend to be less by the wedding)
- late September wedding
- we are all in late 30s/early 40s so age-appropriate
I've had a look at the department store sites (debenhams/house of fraser) but any other suggestions for places to look? I'm not sure yet who is paying for the dresses but we are all happy to pay for our own as long as they aren't more than £150 or so.
Thanks for any pointers - this is my one and only chance to be bridesmaid so I want to do the best I can!
