Balls and how to avoid getting them

I've lost my mind trying to de-ball an expensive M&S cardigan. No matter where I buy my cardigans - M&S or F&F they always end up with balls. They make the cardigans look old and raggy despite my only wearing them a few times. How do you avoid balls?!

You buy one of these clothes shavers. They do work.

I had no idea what this thread was about before opening it I was thinking 'maybe limit your testosterone?'

Don't use fabric conditioner on stuff that has a high bobble potential.
When I do get bobbles I use a regular wilkinson sword razor to chop em off & works a treat- go easy though because I have shaved holes before

I'll try to go without the fabric softener. It's usually on the arms where they rub on my sides.
