Pipbin thanks I've just searched and found loads, don't know why I never thought of that!

There's one near me too. I did some modelling for her and got a big discount Smile got my first collectif for her!

TaliZorah · 31/12/2015 08:28

Pipbin those are perfect!!!

Eminybob · 31/12/2015 08:31

OP your op reminded me that I must have seen Ruby Shoo mentioned on these here S&B boards a while ago, saw a beautiful gold and black pair on Amazon and added them to my wish list.

Promptly forgot all about them until I open a mystery Christmas present from DP and there they are! I didn't even know he knew I had an Amazon wish list! Love them (and him)

Tanaqui · 31/12/2015 08:34

Boden also do really nice skinny belts Tali. Love your red coat, and pp's spotted circle skirt.

TaliZorah · 31/12/2015 08:36

Tanaqui thank you!

Pipbin · 31/12/2015 09:19

Not the most flattering of pictures but here is today's dress.

User, the blue dress is stunning but not sure how it'll hang on you - it's "cut close to the body" and the model was 5'9". I reckon the Missoni-style one would suit you better, if you're happy with fulsome boobage :)

Obvious suggestion: order both and send one back!

LancashireTea · 31/12/2015 10:48

Was having a lurk, but seen as we are discussing delightful outfits then I'm going to join in!

I'm a fan of the rockabilly look. I dress like it a lot when not in work, (used to be with bonkers accessories till dd came along). I think my style is starting to leak into work though now.
I live in pencil skirts and fifties style tops for work but love a good poofy dress and petticoat when out. I live in Lindy Bop and Collectif.

TaliZorah · 31/12/2015 10:53

Lancashire that sounds lovely! Post some pics if you're comfortable with it I love seeing other peoples style

LancashireTea · 31/12/2015 11:03

Unfortunately as a very large girl, I hide from the camera! I will have a look later.

Sainsburys often have some lovely pull on pencil skirts. I've a navy one with hearts and a lovely giraffe print one.

WhoJazz · 31/12/2015 19:25

I love all the vintage styles. I'm a big fan of the sixties shift dress and forties tea dress.

But what do you all do in the winter? I'm wearing thick woolly tights and ankle boots, plus a heattech top squished underneath Grin

DaffyDuck88 · 31/12/2015 19:52

Anyone seen FrauBraun? She does fun stuff at various fairs - saw her at one of the Vintage Festivals and at a V&A pop-up thing a while back - you get to dress up and take your own photo. Lots of great pieces, I have a gorgeous 30s cape and a 40s crepe dress, actually two from her. Last time I visited she had the ultimate find - a stunning handmade 20's wedding dress with a little matching jacket. No way I'd fit in it, would have to hang it on a wall or something. Always something interesting to catch your eye though even if its not your usual style.

smellylittleorange · 31/12/2015 20:23

Ooh hi all I like to dress with a nod to vintage..I am an hourglass but with v wide thighs. The tea dress is my fave but I also have some fifties style stuff from lindybop, collectif and all also collect vintage brooches

Lovewearingjeans · 31/12/2015 21:35

Marking my place on this thread, as I love vintage. I am leaning more towards sixties shift dresses at the moment, especially since cutting my hair short, the fifties style doesn't suit me as much. My problem is shoes, as I have really narrow long feet, so the dress is all sorted, but try don't go so well with trainers! I am looking for some cone heeled brogues, but can't find them anywhere.

EmStAubert · 31/12/2015 21:46

I've just had a look at atom retro, thank you, Dona I love the corduroy pinafores but don't know if I'd dare.

I usually look on ebay for 70s vintage.

GarlicCake · 31/12/2015 22:25

Love - long, slender feet are perfect 60s feet!

This is all very inspiring - I am in awe of how stylish you all are. Tali, I definitely want to see some more of your pics

Love that dress pipbin. I have been lusting after some tartan, have got a bit bored of all my clothes being predictably polka dot!

PetiteBateau · 01/01/2016 11:28

What did you wear when you were pregnant Tali?

TaliZorah · 01/01/2016 11:31

Petite I wore my normal clothes up until I was 32 weeks and then just some stretchy jersey dresses. I had a tiny bump (never got bigger than 31cm).

User I'll put some pics up soon Smile
