What to wear with new FatFace skirt

So I have just bought a skirt in the sale very similar to this www.fatface.com/skirts/fairisle-skirt/invt/906988#ff_colour=Navy although it is solid navy and I'm not sure what kind of top to wear with it.

I will wear opaque tights and either long brown boots or brougue type shoes.

Any suggestions?

how about a fitted white shirt?

Watching with interest as I have it in grey!

I'm thinking plain long sleeve top.

Thanks! I'm not that keen on fitted shirts due to bust/button gaping issues but like the idea of cream jumper. I've thought of a couple tops I have that might work so I must get around to trying them. Really don't want skirt to sit in my wardrobe unworn because I haven't worked this out as has happened with other clothes in the past!

I have that skirt too! I west it with a navy vest and oatmeal cardigan.

It is harder to accessorise than I expected

Plain black top.

I wear navy vest top with either navy blue or oatmeal cardigan or I have a mustard vest top with navy cardigan, usually with a scarf.

My skirt is navy.

I like that skirt! I wonder if my local store has any left.
