The heel is bone, like it says. The heel is not metallic as first glance suggests...look closer, it is bone. Mostly greyish/white with streaks of grey and brown, giving the illusion of being a reflective/metallic finish.

so ( as Pictish helpfully revealed) its not a metallic boot at all. If you do zoom in they are black and white striped.
