Which purse would I like...

If I usually use the Cath Kidston wallet with the large zipper section for coins and a buttoned section that holds 8 cards and notes.

Ha ha basically a purse with a sturdy coin section.

Any recommendations?

A lovely leather John Lewis one, long enough to put your bank notes in without folding them and with two lovely zip compartments.

I got one for my birthday earlier this month which comes from a chain store in the USA called Charlie something (sorry to be so unspecific!) It´s fantastic.
