New Boots

Looking for new boots, probably the dr martens or fly. What's cool on mumsnet these days?

Oh I'd go for docs every time. If you have some cash to spend check out your nearest doc marten's store or on line shop www.drmartens.com/uk/
If you aren't so flush try ebay. I got a gorgeous pair of double sole 14 eyelet aggie DM's on ebay. It is always worth hunting, the old ones that were made in England last forever if they have been well cared for.
On that note my husband picked up a pair of doc shoes in a charity shop, never worn. Real classics.
If you want to be very very cool and have a wad of money there used to a place on the Doc website where you could order customised boots.

I tried on a pair of doc charla boots today which I quite liked but they were too big and not available in my size. I also felt that they were of a height that did my calves no favours. I'm looking at the violas online. Any feedback on them would be most welcome! Thanks for the advice, having tried them on, they were INCREDIBLY comfy!!
