At this time of year who is actually going to see it?

There are actually quite a few of us Mumsnetters who live in places with warm Christmases. Christmas day is forecast to be 84 F where I live. So OPI Miami Beet for me (a deep red).

A) I wear socks
B) I'm pregnant enough that I'm not even sure if I can paint them

Turquoise. My DH will see it and he's more important than the randoms on the street who might see it in summer anyway.

OK. I will rephrase that to "at this time of year in the chilly north of England who is going to see it?*

In the short time that OH and DD see my feet in winter, the fact that the nails are painted or not just will not register with them at all. In fact, I don't think that OH notices whether my nails are painted in the summer.

Of course. Revlon fashioning on toes (v dark teal) and black sparkle on fingers.

Chose black as will go with red print frock (xmas Eve), green print frock (xmas day) and yellow print frock (boxing day).

And I will see my toes. Am in the chilly north and don't care if no-one else but me does!

Vv hot where I am so couldn't go for letter box red somehow. It's tropical so gone for a fluoro pink with a touch of coral. It's ever so cheerful, irritatingly my manicure has already peeled due to too much Christmas graft :(

Ah, Bunbaker your post reminds me of the time that I, who have lived in warm climates most of my live, decided to get a pedicure while visiting DH's relatives in January in upstate New York. I had not reckoned the walk across the parking lot to my car in flipflops in the snow and ice.

Yep, of course. I have a Nails Inc molton silver which I had done last week in my lunch break. Looks lovely. I like wearing plain black flip flops round the house instead of slippers and I'm all set for Christmas

Not done, right state here. Baby is under the weather and a total Klingon and mil arrived a day early for Christmas due to impending storm. and I'm sick! had some nice Essie freebies lined up and all.

I did however manage to escape to get wax done and brows threaded the other day, never had brows threaded before. Fuck me it was sore. But am impressed all the same.

A loving Christmas tribute to the old bugger who has just given me ANOTHER fucking Christmas chore.

I've still got to buy booze, ice the cake, make mince pies and knock up some fondant penguins.

I have shiny black toes & fingers but I will be redoing them tomorrow not decided which colour yet though .

Been meaning to do mine for aaaahes but it will be done as I'm another barefoot flip flops in the house wearer. Fingers are done tho (slightly sparkly navy blue with loads of extra sparkle on ring fingers) and brows and moustache threaded
