Is this a bit dull?

I spotted this whilst in M&S and quite liked the look of it but I don't know if it is just a bit dull for Christmas day?

I'm 32 and hosting Christmas dinner so thought it might be practical.

If you get too hot you'll have to change completely. Going to the loo will take ages too.

I like the style but not velour so I wouldn't buy it for that reason.

To me it would depend on the wearer and the styling. I think it could look nice. Its quite a good reduction so you could always take a punt, plus if you order it and it doesnt suit M&S are good about refunds.

It's a bit like you cut the sleeves off your fanciest onesie.

Also what would you wear on your feet? Only things that would work with it are very high heels and they're not exactly relaxing to wear around the house on Christmas Day.

In passing I thought it velvet not velour, now all I can think of is those juicy couture tracksuits so I think I will give it a miss and they have sold out of my size
