What do you think about facial steamers?

I just recalled that I had one 20 years ago. Is this still a thing? Might it give me a glow?

I've always thought they're one of those useless bits of kit that will just gather dust. A bowl of hot water and a towel over the head will be just as effective.

I like mine. I occasionally use it (when I remember/have time) and I always feel better afterwards.

Having said that, they're similar to foot spas IMO in the way that people probably often get one, use it a few times, store it away when the novelty wears off and forget about it (me included . Whereas it's just been pointed out, a bowl of water and towel does just as well.

Hm. The one I had just targeted the face whereas a bowl of water and a towel would require me to protect my hair. .. Having said that, I have time on my hands. Maybe I should give it a try!
