Miami then I think you should have a look at Chanel's smoky eyeshadows, the colors are really great

Kanebo Instant Glow base, plus mineral powder foundation (MAC, Laura Mercier, Loreal) on central panel, skin tone eye shadow in sockets (Stila or Pixi), navy mascara (various), Stila eyebrow pencil, maybe blusher (MAC, ancient Dior compact), Nuxe lip balm or Maybelline Hollywood red lipstick. About 5 minutes; then 10 minutes to choose scent!

Mac lipstick

BeeMyBaby · 20/12/2015 16:13

Eyeshadow, mascara, liquid eyeliner, eyebrow powder, all MUA, it takes about 10 mins.

dogwalker75 · 20/12/2015 20:55

Daytime:
Foundation
Blusher
Bronzer
Max factor mascara
Eyeshadow + primer
Eyebrow powder
Concealer

Evening:
Above plus eyeliner on top and bottom
Highlighter
Lipstick
Lots more eyeshadow
Face primer

Brands are mostly Estée Lauder, benefit, make up revolution, rimmel, W7, channel , max factor, urban decay, L'oreal, collection, soap & glory and revlon.

Petal02 · 20/12/2015 22:49

Boots no 7 primer, Boots no 7 BB cream, Clinique Instant Pore Perfector - these are my 'create a base' items, not sure if they count as make-up or skin care, as I can do these in the dark if required!

Followed by:
Clinique airbrush concealer
Corn silk loose powder
Clinique blusher
Mascara
Eyeliner
Lip gloss or very light textured lipstick

Without this, I look like the un-dead. When I started wearing make-up, back in my teens, I clearly made a rod for my own back!

Pandora97 · 21/12/2015 00:07

I wear:

Estee Lauder foundation
No. 7 face powder
Maybelline cat's eye mascara
Autograph (M&S) black eyeliner
Max Factor lipstick (a colour that doesn't exist anymore)

So a complete mish-mash of brands. Takes 10 minutes on average, I can do it in 5 if I'm in a rush.

Lndnmummy · 21/12/2015 11:52

Today
Nars tinted moisturier
Clarins concealer on annoying roseac bits
Benefit gimme brows
Lancome mascara
Mac naked lunch eye shadow all over lid
Mac omega in the crease
Very light contour using the above Mac omega eyeshadow and a Nars highlighter
Elizabeth Arden 8 hour tinted lipbalm

mercifulTehlu · 21/12/2015 12:03

Rimmel or L'Oreal BB cream, lipstick (whatever I happen to have at the time - I tend to only have one and wear it all the time - currently a Lancome one). Concealer (Rimmel or No7). Takes about 2 minutes.

Only wear any eye make-up on an evening out (pretty rare!).

LondonHuffyPuffy · 21/12/2015 13:51

Today I am wearing a lot of make-up as I'm going out after work:
GOSH powder primer
Urban Decay Naked Skin Illuminating Beauty Balm
Lancome Teinte Idole Ultra 24h foundation mixed with a small amount of Benefit Hi Beam
YSL Touch Eclat
Laura Mercier eyeshadow in Ballet Pink
A purplish brown Sephora eyeshadow
Bobbi Brown gel eyeliner in (I think) khaki gold on eyelid
Barry M brown kohl liner under eye
Benefit lash primer (free with Cosmo last month)
L'Oreal false lash architect mascara
Bobbi Brown eyebrow pencil in Blonde
Bobbi Brown eyebrow mascara stuff in blonde
Nars orgasm blusher
Guerlain terracotta bronzer
Guerlain Les Meteorites powder

Took about 20 mins this morning

lavendersun · 22/12/2015 09:19

Very little, tinted moisturiser (currently pale no 7) and burts bees dahlia lip thing.

In fact I just realised that my one eyeshadow (mac quarry) is 18 years old. Wonder if they still make it, still have 1/3 left. Is it bacteria ridden or do you think they will have died off Grin.

LondonHuffyPuffy · 22/12/2015 10:19

Today I look like I am wearing a lot less make-up but I still used most of the above! I just missed out the gel eyeliner and the Sephora eyeshadow. I am wearing an Estee Lauder lipstick today though.

hollieberrie · 22/12/2015 10:47

Huffy or anyone else, if youre wearing bronzer and blusher how and where do you apply? I usually stick to blusher cos i'm not sure of the rules about applying bronzer or both.

But i have quite a round face and i would like to look a bit more "sculpted". Hmm. Maybe i need contouring?!

LondonHuffyPuffy · 22/12/2015 11:11

If you're just wearing blusher, apply it to the apples of your cheeks. I've got a pinkish blusher with a tiny bit of bronzer over the top to tone down the pink.

If you want to look more sculpted you can try contouring with bronzer and highlighter, but that requires a bit of effort and I don't do it every day!

hollieberrie · 22/12/2015 11:21

Thanks, Ill try a bit of bronzer over blusher and see how it looks. Might need Youtube help for contouring, ill have a look for some beginners guides!

MrsBertMacklin · 22/12/2015 11:29

I used to love choosing eye colour and blusher in the mornings but since having to wake up at 530 that's gone out of the window Sad

Curl eyelashes
Brown 'natural looking' mascara, either Clinique feathering, 17 falsifye or Maybelline.
Bobbi Brown serum corrector and concealer for under eye shadows
Clarins Instant Light perfector or Bourjois happy light as base
Translucent powder on t zone.

just under 5 minutes.

LondonHuffyPuffy · 22/12/2015 11:30

I've only recently discovered contouring. I watched loads of YouTube videos and I'm still not great at it, but it's quite good fun playing around. I find powder easier to contour the darker bits with than creams, but find a cream easier for the light bits! Not sure if you're supposed to use different textures but I think it kinda works. Hopefully.

I use a Guerlain terracotta bronzer and a cream highlighter from a contour kit.

mewkins · 22/12/2015 20:50

Agree with you huffy! I use much cheaper products and use a light hand as I think it can look a bit heavy but saw someone do a very easy version - suck in your cheeks and dust the hollows with bronzer up and outwards. Then smile and use blusher on the apples of your cheeks. Then I use cream highlighter on my cheekbones. Very quick and easy and gives a nice glow.

hazeyjane · 22/12/2015 21:01

5-10 minutes

Bourjois foundation
" concealer
No7 loose powder
Bourjois powder blusher
Eye liner - whatever I like the look of
No7 eye shadow
Mascara - any on offer
lip balm/lipstick

goodnessgraciousgoudaoriginal · 22/12/2015 21:10

every single day:

Clinique cream concealer under eyes, on any spots and any uneven skin tone. Much quicker than foundation and way more natural looking.

Eyebrow pencil. Any dark brown one I'm really not fussy.

Benetint lip and cheek stain (on cheeks)

Curl eyelashes.

Lip balm

Total time takes...maybe just over five minutes? Max? I try to remember to put a bit of loose powder on as well as it makes a difference to shine throughout the day, but I only remember about 70% of the time.

Very often I'll put mascara on, but I couldn't honestly say I do it every day without fail. I also often wear eyeliner (either liquid or just smudged kohl), but again, it's not every day. I'll go through phases of using lipstick as a sort of natural looking stain (I absolutely hate the look of "block" lipstick), but it's definitely not an every day thing.
