Blusher

When I go to make up counters most put a peach ish blush colour on me .
I thought that blusher was meant to be the shade you go after a brisk walk ie pink .
Also if you contour do you have to use a peach / brown shade which then means it's odd to use a pink .
This is a confusing aspect to me 😳

Do not ever go to a Benefit counter as they look awful!

Do remember that they all work under artificial lighting and cake the make up on.

I use pink blusher as it resembles my natural colour.

Peach or coral looks awful on me but we all have different colouring!

I can't really help with contouring as I don't need to do it.

My DD has a pallette of peach blusher/pink blusher/neutral concealer.
I tried pink/peach one on each cheek .

Pink looked better . (I have brown eyes, coppery hair, pale freckled skin)

Sleek do a Naars dupe (Rose Gold) -nice pinky shade but a bit too glittery for me.

I think peach is supposed to be a colour which suits everyone, so that's why they they use it.

It depends on your skin and hair colour.
I use a peach shade because pink looks unnatural and too bright on me.

I use benetint as it is the colour of blood - hence the brisk walk. I have to go easy otherwise I look ruddy!
Posietint is better but very very subtle. I use this as well depending on mood.
I don't understand the peach blush thing either.

Peach looks good on most skin tones. However, on my very pale cool-toned skin it can look really dirty. I look much better wearing icy pinks and soft mauves.

Yes that's it ! It just makes me loo k like I need a good wash !

Really your blush should match your lipstick tone to look the best.
