Talk to me about handbags

Need a new one. Willing to pay up to around £250 for something nice.
Been looking at Michael Kors but are they 'naff'?
Thinking of a satchel type with grab handles and an across body long strap.

What do we think of blue bags? Not pale blue but not navy.
All my bags are tan and my key wardrobe colours are grey, black, all shades of blue ( including turquoise and teal.)

I have a Jaeger tote in navy which I use loads for work and constantly go back to. Mulberry always have a sale around Christmas and their bags are the sort you use forever; I have a Bayswater I got in the sales for £300 and it's 6/7 years old and still used often, and the outlet at Bicester Village has some beautiful stuff that's massively reduced. John Lewis always do a pretty good range of handbags in their sale, too.

Thanks- I don't want navy. I was thinking of something like this colour

I also don't want to go as high as £300. Closer to £200 is the idea!

Oh that's lovely, and definitely will fit in well with the colours in your wardrobe.
