Wandered into our latest new store Pep and co ( daft name, part of new look chain) and came across a nice little pinafore dress for £12.

I'd been looking for a knitted dress that wasn't straight up or down or black.

Anyway I got a navy, wine red and a black. Didn't buy the mink. Funny colour on me. Don't appear to have them on their website. They are nicely made. Have a faux moleskin effect front. I got a bigger size to put a jumper underneath.

I had a fuchsia jumper and a long sleeved vest to go underneath and a nice fuchsia scarf.

I happened to have some faux navy moleskin boots and I bought in the store a nice navy hoody anorak for £18. Also in a size bigger in case I wanted another layer underneath.

Only criticism ...two inches longer would have been better but I'm 5 feet 6.

I felt smart and well put together. Sick of wearing dress and cardi.

If you've got one near you, have a look. They seem to sell all sorts.

It’s part of Poundland not New Look.
