What is this on my face?

I noticed this yesterday evening. It looks like I've slept on a button! It doesn't hurt and it's not raised above the skin, but I have no idea how its occurred or what it is! Any ideas?

Thanks assquatch - mystery solved. The 4 dots in the middle fits into my ring :( hoping it goes down soon x

No problem. In early sleepless new born days, I had a jumper do this in my arm. I thought I had meningitis.
