hairdo for this dress?

Firstly please excuse the crap strewn around the room! I'm rubbish with hair but it's a special occasion so want to make an effort. I have wavy frizzy hair that is just below my jaw. I tried curling it but it was a bit of a disaster!

Doh! Can't edit. Should also have said the overall look is quite grungy so black nails, dark make up etc. I just can't think of anything simple that will look right.

Try the curling again. You tube tutorials. Curling with ghd's will give you a grungier curl esp if you don't go right to the ends.

Is it for tonight or do you have time to book a curly blow dry?

It's for next Saturday but DC's have two b/day parties during the day and we have family coming over beforehand so I honestly don't think I'll have time to go to a hairdresser. Would if I could though!

I like the idea of a messy bun but I don't think my hair is long or thick enough.

I'll try curling with my straighteners again but I don't have ghd's sadly.
