Hairdressers near the ritz recommendation

Hoping for a personal recommendation/experience of a hairdresser within walking distance to the Ritz hotel. Attending dinner dance there this Friday and whilst I appreciate its short notice I'm toying with the idea of paying to get my hair 'put up'.

Have googled but there are so many places! Also not wanting to spend a massive amount if possible, the salon at the Ritz is £70 so wanting to pay less than that.

Hair is shoulder length and only wanting a simple chignon....if that's the right word 😄

There is a Rush salon just down the road on Piccadilly that should be much cheaper.

There are a couple on Berkely Street-the street opposite the ritz. Cross Piccadilly and is road leading to Berkeley Square
