Where are all the plain black knee high boots?

I'm looking for a plain pair. I don't mind whether they are leather or suede. Ideally I'd like some with elastic incorporated into the leg part, and / or a zip.

I don't want any gold buttons, straps or buckles. Low - medium heel .

Has anyone seen anything plain and simple on their travels?

I think the Middletons have bought them all up!

I am ruing the decision to ebay my old ones. All I can find this year are Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman style thigh high styles. Which could be crotch high on me.

unless you want to pay silly money, heels under 3 inches have been outlawed, and no-one is allowed to have feet larger than size 7. Or so it appears.

That wasn't intended as sarcasm. I'm having the same problem myself. My knee boots are on their last legs but all that's out there is ankle boots and over the knee boots. Clarks have a few but the calves are quite wide.

There are a few pairs from Toast on ebay right now if you can find your size
