Smart t shirt for DH

Any suggestions on brands? He is 40 and I want to get something that looks high quality / smart without a huge logo emblazoned across it. Don't mind little labels or whatever. Maybe with a collar. It's for those occasions where a shirt is too dressy but still needs to look pretty smart!

Polo shirts are a bit naff.

Dh wears plain black or white long sleeve t-shirts in this very tiny waffle weave from the gap with skinny chinos and brown boots for a smart/casual affair.

Have you tried Landsend? It is quite preppy but I like it and it does the sort of thing you are looking for.

He has just informed me that he has,always quite fancied a pair of cowboy boots because apparently I married one of the village people.
