Ruby Shoo sizing

Can anyone give me their experience of this?

I have 2 pairs now, one mary jane style with a strap across which fit perfectly, and another pair that arrived yesterday in the same size (6), court style with heels that are too big and that I forsee myself breaking my neck in!

I'm a bit gutted as I absolutely love them, so have ordered another pair in size 5 and will see if they fit better.

If not and I wanted to get an insole or heel grip for the size 6, can anyone recommend the best route to take?

there are things called 'Sizers' shoe sizing insert cushions which you might try if you end up get the larger size. (I have tried to do a link to Amazon but computer says no Confused)

ah thanks FadedRed. I think I have seen those before, are they sort of foam inserts that your toes fit into IYSWIM?

Have you tried them and are they ok to wear/comfortable?

Love my Ruby Shoos, but I am half size so have to get the next size up. I have some full toe gel covers (look like the toe end of a sock, but made from that soft gel stuff) because I have old gnarled arthritic toe joint, and these are sooo comfy. got them from one of those catalogues that appear on the doorstep, Kleeneze or the other one. You might try these as an option.

Yes, when I rang the shop I had ordered the shoes from, she said I was probably a half size and the 5 would be too small.

Are these the sizers things you were talking about?

Hi Davethecat - yes they are the Sizer thingies. I haven't used them but did see them recommended on MN a few months ago, and if I remember correctly, some MNers were very positive.
The gel toe things I use are cheaper though, but aren't in different sizes, and are more about protecting my strange toes, but they fill up the gap iyswim. I also put gel heel grips in my shoes. (but as previously mentioned I do have unfortunate feet Grin)
