Does anyone think that bigger earrings don't go with glasses?

I wear reading glasses and as i read a lot at work, i wear the a lot during the day. I've started to notice that if i have larger earrings on ( not just studs) my whole head looks too ' busy'.

Anyone else?

I can do a small - very small - gold hoop with my specs. Any bigger and I look like I might whip out some lucky white heather/read your palm.

I know this isn't really the point of the thread but I have no recollection of Deidre Barlow wearing earrings.

That's what I thought - occasional earrings but I couldn't remember any Bet Lynchers.

And sorry, didn't mean to nit pick, just thought it was interesting - and quite poignant - that someone can be on the telly all those years and yet we still can't remember properly what she looked like.

I can't do it either OP... Too much face furniture. I feel I look weird with glasses & earrings.

I agree. I had on dangly earrings yesterday and didn't put my contacts in all day and it annoyed me every time I looked in the mirror!
