Debenhams gift card - is this normal?

Last week i spent over 50e (am in Ireland) and received a 10e gift voucher. Was back there today and bought some cosmetics. I just noticed that I paid the full price, less the 10e, but they didnt apply the 15% in-store discount. Has anyone else experienced this? I feel a bit greedy wanting both but also, if they're advertising a 15% discount I feel I should've got it!

What were the terms and conditions on the voucher? They often say somthing like "cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount or offer, or for goods on sale..."

Most offers have in the t&cs that it can't be used together with any other offer or coupon. Look for a poster advertising the 15% offer and see what the small print says.
