I have a Christmas dinner and a few birthday nights out coming up. I hardly ever get dressed up and have lost track of what is fairly fashionable! I will probably need to get some high heels as well. Looking for a dress that is not too revealing (heading for 40 
) but not frumpy, and that I won't feel too overdressed in.
I'm a size 8, and 5ft 3, with fairly broad shoulders. My budget is about £50. I like the idea of a burgundy skater style dress.
